The pricing was fair, and there were no surprise charges. The work was completed on time, and my car is running perfectly now. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can truly trust, but I’ve definitely found one here. Highly recommend!

I took my car to Jay because 3rd gear wasn’t working properly, and after being turned away by various other garages, Jay was willing to take on the job. It ended up costing £1,750 as I needed an entire new gearbox. The repair took several days, but Jay kept me well informed throughout the process. Jay is very responsive and clearly works extremely hard —he even replies to text messages outside of normal hours, and I always got a prompt response. His garage is busy, but Jay and his team, Andrew and Kieran, are incredibly friendly and professional. One thing that really stood out to me was when my son drove over a pothole and caused an issue. Jay put the car on a ramp, tightened everything up, and fixed the problem – and he didn’t charge me a penny for it. It really showed he’s honest and not out to rip people off. Recently, I wanted to pop in again, and Jay responded instantly and offered to book me in, but luckily, I didn’t need to bring the car in again.
