David poured his time, including weekends, to helping us to succeed in getting our mortgage. He went above and beyond what any other broker will do. His knowledge of working with VA loans is outstanding. His communications with us were the best I’ve seen. He was also honest and upfront of any problems that could arise. I had the pleasure of working with Cody for a “site unseen” purchase. He was very helpful and honest. The thing that stuck out to me the most was a comment he made when I first reached out, he said, “ if I’m dishonest or give you bad advice then my reputation here (Fort Polk, LA area ) goes out the window. I thought to myself, this is a professional who makes an honest living. To give more context, I was working with another lender from a different company who told me the best rate I could get was 6.75% and with a rate buy down option of $11,000 I could be at 6.12%. I put my home searching on pause in hopes the rates would come down before committing to the purchase. I reached out to Cody who came highly recommended through my realtor and he was able to get me at a 5.99% rate with no money out of pocket. Mind you this was within two weeks. I used the VA loan, a quick google search of “VA current rates “ will give you an AVERAGE interest rate. If the average is 6.75% AND you have great credit then you may be able to get a better rate.
