Our 120K service was very expensive. The total for 6 hours of work was $3,800. This included $2,200 for the Forester's 120K service plus issues with belts/oil for $1,600. Even if the parts were $1,500, they charged over $350 per hour for labor. Further, their policy is to charge a 3% credit card fee if your bill is over $1500. They waived this for us (honestly, I think because my husband's face looked like he was about to faint when he saw the price) but I am surprised by the policy.

I would recommend that anyone who is able takes their Subaru to be serviced at ANY other location than the Salem Subaru service center. We’d been on a “list” for a recall on our car since January. As of last week we were still at least 20 cars out to get in for the repair. In the meantime our car shuddered so horribly when we drove it I literally hated driving our car. We called another local Subaru dealer who literally got us in the NEXT morning to do the repair. We were in and out within hours. I will not be bringing my vehicle back to Salem.
