In reply to their response (Dec 31, 2024): You'd like to try to rectify the issue? Your agents had countless attempts, along with a supervisor. The reviews left by others says lots. They deleted my last review. Their customer service has significantly declined.

So I'm just following up on my previous report - David - Drabek Technologies Ltd. - Ticket No#1508548 hoping $hit will hit the fan and something will change, where We are now 3 weeks of email issues, now is Friday and I do not see any of the emails from Thursday, since last week We had another 4 different technicians looking at the problem, I personally had two online sessions where all supposed to be good after. Funny enough after my review I get direct phone call where We just directed our issue to already going report, otherwise girls on the front desk have to spend hours every morning to get hold of anybody, and We usually getting person that is changing the server settings in our thunderbird or outlook setting, which is obviously not the issue here, basically our whole company is now trying to send everything from Webmail - online email access ( so no personal computer setting is involved ) but even that We where not been able to send and received emails yesterday whole day and before it was always on and off, so We really lost a lot of time now. I assume WHC Tech support really lacking knowledgeable people if you have real problem that is more complex than setting of your email manager on your personal computer and for some reason they are not able to follow up on the issues to make som progress..... Seriously disappointed and We are already looking into changing provider, We already lose more than We saved by using WHC....

I used Canadian Web Hosting from April 2009 to July 2023 as a web host. There were many down times for my site over those years, but it did get slightly better when I went to VPS. The service people were helpful within the limits of their skill sets, so they could solve some of the issues. When they couldn’t solve a problem, they would blame it on “overloads in the area” or some other external factor. If the downtime was significant, they would run the clock with vague promises about when it would be fixed. The site was down for a few days on several occasions--this cost me money and credibility with my advertisers and readers. I had to be a human meat shield for their poor service. They did compensate me with some rebates for down time, but it didn’t cover what we lost with credibility. The conclusion with Canadian Web Hosting came in June when the site was down for five days--I had to explain to my customers and readers why we were offline for almost a week because we are a daily information website. Their service people gave no deadlines, no explanations, plus they started copying and pasting the same basic reply. I left Canadian Web Hosting a month ago—when I inquired yesterday about why my refund wasn’t sent by check, I got another typical runaround, vague answer. If you’re okay with service interruptions and non-answers from tech people Canadian Web Hosting is your place but my experience over a decade wasn’t great.
