I’m 15 mins from the airport. I attempted to make a reservation for a regular old cab for the next morning. I received an invoice for 80 dollars. Uber was literally 1/4 the price and 4 times out of 5, the experience is much nicer than cabs. Maybe this is displaced rage for everyone raising their prices to utterly ridiculous prices but that is completely preposterous. Maybe they don’t want normal folks’ business and only want corporate clients? Because who in their right mind would pay for that. I gave them an extra star for at least responding promptly to the reservation request but I won’t be reaching out again.

It is rare that I use this type of service bc I always drive my car. I was picked up within the window of time I was given. I was told what color/model of car to expect. The car was clean, comfortable, smelled fresh, had awesome music playing. The driver was professional but friendly, verified my name, didn't make chit-chat but answered the one question I asked. I would definitely use this company again if the need should arise.

Nick and team at Cambridge Taxi Cab did a great job w transport to/fro Logan Airport to Cambridge for a workshop I was running. We had various people from different countries coming in and Nick and his team managed our cab orders wonderfully. It was a highly professional workshop and I was a little worried about how to handle the ground transport. I had not worked w Cambridge Taxi Cab before, so it felt a little like a gamble, but Nick took the time to talk w me on the phone more than once and explain the process and how Logan is running now a days, etc. and I could see he was very knowledgeable about his business. They did a great job, and I would work w them again for sure.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I made an on-line reservation for a cab from my house in Cambridge to Logan Airport a day in advance for a 3:30 PM pickup to make a 5:30 flight. I was waiting in front of my house at 3:20 – no cab by 3:45. I was getting very worried, so I called dispatch. After four tries, someone finally answered the phone. I told them I was very concerned about making my flight, and asked how long it would be until my taxi arrived. The dispatcher told me that if I wasn’t in front of my house on-time, the cab would leave. I told him I was there, and that the driver had my cell phone number, but didn’t call. I asked politely how long it would be to get another cab, and the dispatcher told me “I don’t have anything, call another company”, and hung up. I was getting desperate, after trying several other cab companies with no luck, it occurred to me to try a rideshare. I downloaded the Uber App, and had a car in front of my house in five minutes. The ride was great, and I made my flight. I will never use a traditional taxi company again. After reaching my destination, I called Cambridge Taxicab for an explanation. Three calls to three different dispatchers each met with incredibly rude responses. It’s like they’re trying to kill their business. There is a reason why they get all one star and five star reviews. The one star reviews all tell a story much like mine; the five star reviews sound like they were fake reviews purchased by Cambridge Taxicab.
