Customer experiences
This place rocks! We stopped in after the Farmers Market. I was surprised at the diverse menu. I had Turkish eggs, and my friend had Chicken Fried Steak. We were both thoroughly impressed with our dishes. Both were very well prepared, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly! The restaurant was clean and had a nice modern ambiance. The waitstaff was kind and tentative. Most importantly, the mimosas were perfect and strong, too! $35 for all you can drink! They also offer a gluten-free toast substitution. When I requested this to the waitress, she was quick to warn about cross contamination. I do appreciate that they are upfront and take allergies seriously. We will definitely be back!
Amazing service! Delicious food, literally everything I had was flavorful, homemade, and mouth watering. The place can get busy, and they don’t take reservations, but you can get on a walk on list! This place is definitely worth the wait! 10/10! I’m impressed with the menu changes! I’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend!
07/24 from 9-11am: Shared a pic or before and after being sent back. Presentation very nice and looks like it’s going to be so good but very big let down. Dishes were both cold but one was okay because it had Salmon on it but the other Bennys biscuits supposedly just got done cooking which was a lie because it was flat out cold, everyone knows hollandaise sauce is suppose to be warm but unfortunately was cold as well and the sauce brought out for side was even more cold. Even if it was warm the taste was very bland and I would have to say the hollandaise sauce was probably the worst we both have had anywhere. About the only positive thing for this restaurant was our server Ava, she had great customer service. There was another girl serving with a stripped shirt on and management needs to teach her what customer service is; bad attitude and did not smile once at anyone. Tried this place when it was Tres Bonne and not sure if they have new ownership or cook but this was a horrible experience all together.
Used to be Tres Bonne…but they revamped things with what appears to be a more approachable menu. My wife and I (and our new baby) did brunch there. Simple ham a cheese omelette was fantastic…egg cooked to perfection and real hashbrowns like a diner would do. My wife had the juevos rancheros…so good! Tons of meat layered in there. Had to keep trying bites of hers. We both had cocktails. The chai one with orphan girl was addictive…trust me just get it! The only miss was one called “spring fever” which was an odd mix off coffee, lavender and lemon. The waitress immediately saw the look my wife had when she tasted it and took it off our bill and gave her a mimosa on the house! Bottom line, they took a place that has a super cute vibe (paying homage to the Florence building and uptown diner) and amped up the food to make it more accessible…if you want fancy they have it, if you want greasy diner food they have it. Great mix and delicious! Now stop reading and just go!!!
