Horrible! Nightmare ! He scammed me over $100 and was super creepy and said a horrific homophobic comment to me. During our appointment, he asked me if I was married which made me uncomfortable so I said that I was lesbian (which I say when men make me uncomfortable). He then scoffed at me and said "we all have our own choices but that's not how God intended." I was appalled but not being confrontational, I tried to ignore the comment and change the subject-hoping he'd just finish working on my car. Then he scammed me by: -Originally told me he'd only charge me $65 to replace my belt if I brought in a belt from the local auto shop. I ended up bringing in the wrong belt so he said he'd give me an extra belt that was "close enough," that he had in his shop. -Then we discussed him replacing my headlights. I asked him several times how much it'd be in total and ignored my question while which I thought was weird. I finally asked him "will it be around $100?" He said "yes, I'll give you the receipt afterwards." Him not being clear should have been another red flag. -Afterwards he gave me a bill for $214 claiming that he was charging me for labor as well. Mind you most of the time was spent waiting on the lights to be delivered. He only spent 30-40 minutes on "Labor." He did say that he wasn't charging me by topping off my fluids and oil. So that's a plus. Needless to say I was shocked by the $214 bill which was higher than discussed. I feel that he upcharged me for saying that I'm a lesbian because apparently that comment really irritated him.
