Lindsey, our waitress was amazing and charming to boot. The braised beef dish was amazing. I understand we were the first to have this dish and I highly recommend it. MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DELICIOUSNESS.I cannot wait to come back for more. KUDOS TO THE CHEF!

Was googling places to go on a lunch date, came across their ads for $15 ribs Friday special. Decided that was perfect. Went blind other than that. Very quick and friendly service, food arrived in what felt like minutes after ordering, and our server Sukhnani was a delight! Will for sure be coming back as a semi-regular date spot. (Must come during summer, the drinks were incredible!)

We held a family reunion farewell supper in one half of the upstairs of the restaurant for ~60 people. Arranging things beforehand with the manager Nathaniel was easy and there was no buy-out or menu restrictions. Nathaniel greeted us on our night and ensured we had enough servers who were professional, warm, and flexible. The restaurant's point-of-sale system was down that day so extra kudos to the staff for taking care of us so well while doing all the order/bills by hand. Everyone enjoyed the food which was brought out in good time despite our numbers. The menu has a decent amount of variety and people were able to order anything which gave us a lot of flexibility. The space was comfortable (mix of tables and booths). When it was time to take group photos, the staff adjusted the lighting to make the setting as well-lit as possible. The staff let us continue celebrating after the restaurant closed (everyone was having a great time). I wouldn't expect this every time and when we come back, we will be more respectful of the staff's time. I highly recommend the Baton Rouge for an event like ours. Thanks Nathaniel and team!
