Amy and her team were great and played a pivotal role in making our wedding weekend at The Dunlin so special! From the very beginning of the planning process, Amy was incredibly quick and responsive, always available when we needed her. Her dedication ensured we stayed focused, on budget and adhered to the timeline. My family has been making annual trips to Charleston since I was a kid, and picking Charleston for our wedding was the first and easiest decision my fiancé and I made. However, we’re both from out of town, and weren’t equipped to plan the Charleston party we were envisioning. If picking Charleston was the easiest choice, hiring Amy and Ashley at Buttercup Events to plan the wedding was the best. They did a particularly fantastic job making our wedding day elegant while incorporating our personalities into the small (and sometimes big) details. The day truly felt like ours. Their knowledge and relationships with the local vendors meant they assembled an absolute dream team for us. Amy and Ashley were very responsive and organized throughout the planning process. They helped us navigate the tricky planning timeline with ease and balance where to spend our budget to make our vision come to life. One thing that stuck out was their ability to turn an idea that was maybe too dissonant with the theme or outside our budget into something that was not only feasible, but often better than what we originally came up with. Amy and her team at Buttercup Events are amazing and exceeded all of my expectations and made my dream day a reality. Seeing my venue decorated and set up for the first time was breathtaking.
