Customer experiences
Brits Fish & Chips is an absolutely incredible restaurant in downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Me and my family ordered the Fish and Chips Family Special. It came with six fillets and three sides. We had three cod and three haddock along with three orders of chips. The food was amazing, very nice fishy flavour, chips go great with gravy, and the portions are amazing. The haddock portions are huge—just one piece with some chips is enough. Next, the service was extraordinary. Our server was very insightful regarding the fish, and he was very friendly. He told us where the fish was sourced from, and the process it went through. Overall, Brits Fish & Chips is a five star restaurant, though prices are a little expensive. Still recommend trying, definitely worth the experience if you’re visiting Charlottetown.
We were on a day trip from Nova Scotia and decided on this place for supper. It looked like a fun place from the outside. It was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We were acknowledged and seated immediately. My friend and I both ordered the haddock and chips. Oh my gosh, it was the biggest piece of fish I've ever seen. The batter was light and crispy. The fish was flakey and so delicious. Our server was fantastic, attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend 👌
Visited Brits Fish and Chips location for dinner. it wasn't very busy with only one other table occupied. The place is a bit dated but its an old building. We sat for a while before anyone come to help, then we sat for another while before we can get a drink or order the food.. we actually almost left.. we did order.. the fish and chips are pricey but its a big serving and they were good.. what surprised me was the burger /sandwich thing that was a special. It was very good..
We had a lovely meal at Brits Fish and Chips before heading to see a show downtown. The servings were copious, and the service was very friendly. We couldn't believe the size of our fish! Mom and I each enjoyed huge piece of crispy battered fish resting on heaps of fries. Dad had a big ole sloppy burger with all sorts of meats and toppings that he devoured happily. There were also lots of gluten-free options on their large menu. Great place to grab a real fish & chips meal in Charlottetown. Maybe leave time for a nap after . . . you may need it!
