We were recently at The Lodge – Residential Care Home in Maldon carrying out some drainage work, and we just had to leave a quick review to say how lovely the experience was from our end. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome – offering us tea, bacon sandwiches (which were top-notch, by the way!), and just generally being an absolute pleasure to be around. You can really tell they care not just about the residents, but about everyone who steps through their doors. The facilities themselves were bright, clean, and clearly very well looked after. Everything had a homely, cheerful feel to it. What really stood out to us though was how happy and content the residents seemed. All in all, The Lodge seems like a really special home, and credit to the whole team for the work they do.
