Dr. Peters is by far the best physician I have ever had. She always takes time to listen to me and take a thoughtful approach with treatment. She is always responsive and helpful and each time I meet with her. I have never met a Dr. with a more calm, caring and intelligent bedside manner. She is absolutely wonderful, I cannot say enough good things about her.

Dr. Peters is by far the best PCP and one of the best doctors I have ever had. I can't adequately explain how amazing she is-she listens, is fully present, makes great suggestions, I feel comfortable and taken care of-couldn't ask for more. As another reviewer said, the front desk and nursing team are amazing too.

I went to Dr. peters for a few years. She was nice enough. However, I suspected i had a hormonal disorder and she just told me to exercise. I asked about 4-6 symptoms and every answer she gave was “exercise”. Granted, I had just told her I did exercise. When I finally found a new doctor I was indeed diagnosed with a hormonal disorder. Moral of the story- she’s dismissive and not accepting of different body sizes and shapes. Exercise isn’t the cure all :)

She was too busy to notice that I told her I had gained thirty pounds seemingly overnight (as in the span of a month) that I was unable to lose. She told me to "drink more caffeine" when I complained that I was sleeping 18 + hours a day, then noted I was seeing a therapist for depression. (I was not, I see him for trichotillomania, and he was insulted by her stating that I was depressed.) She ignored relevant medical information I shared with her about my mother and her early menopause. When I told her we were seeing a reproductive endocrinologist she scoffed at the idea of us being infertile and told me that we should just keep trying. (The RE had given us a 1-2% shot of conceiving naturally.) When I confronted her after reading her notes on my appointment, she basically said "It was a busy day in the office, I missed some things," and added a snarky addendum to her notes stating that I wanted to "add details," and then copy/pasted my email, minus the part where I told her that I had explicitly complained of those symptoms to her during my annual checkup. She made it seem like these were after-the-fact complaints and that my weight gain was imagined, despite the fact that it is empirical data that she can reference in my chart. (I went from a BMI of 18.5 to 29 in three months.) I was bummed because I had been seeing her for several (five?) years. I should have known the first time she gave me a breast examination and refused to make eye contact.
