The place is really big and nice, very organized, however, the reason for the 1 star review was because upom checking out my 3 items, cashier told me I get to pick 3 free magazines, handed me a pen to encircle 3. Was surprised by it to be honest, but then I figured out it was a subscription and I told her I didn't want to get subscription for magazines. I then proceeded and waiting for her to check out but I noticed the balance to pay was higher than it seemed and asked her why and she said that she have already got me into another subscription I believe it was something like books in a million promos or discount member subscription which again I did not ask to sign up for. It is very shady to sign up buying customers to a subscription they are not trying to purchase and automatically add it to their total like a scam. The books are also very expensive in this store to be honest, I bought 3 items to support the store but scamming me at check out is definitely not cool. It made the whole experience so upsetting.

I love Books&Co. It's refreshing to have something other than a clothing store or restaurant inside of The Greene. Books&Co is huge - 2 stories and a clearly marked section for everything. They have horror, anime, children's, science, history, fictions, banned books. The whole nine!

Very clean and large variety of books in two level store . . . Only missing is a coffee shop where you can purchase a coffee grab a book and read at any place you will lake it.

I’ve been around to many book stores, including Books-A-Million’s, Barnes & Noble, boutique and various others across several states. I’d rank this book store among one higher ones on my list. It’s a really good size, offers a bit of everything, and tons of bargain books all the time (average range I’ve seen are $2-$10). Definitely a must!
