This salon isn't as it seems. The photos are stunning on Instagram, making me believe that's the hair I would get after coming out of this salon, and it isn't. I wanted bright blonde highlights, and I got brassy, yellow highlights. I even showed multiple photos of what I wanted, explaining I wanted similar to my old photos just not AS blonde everywhere. I came out very unhappy with my hair. Two days later I called to talk about it, saying maybe it was a miscommunication, trying to see if they'd fix it. They told me to try purple shampoo and that my sunny trip should lighten it up. I waited to see.. And a month later, my hair is still bad. I am very unhappy with it and the salon won't even take me back to fix it at no cost or even a low cost. They told me, as quoted, "she probably isn't the right hair stylist for you. You should see somebody else". And that is now what I have to do SOMEWHERE ELSE. I was even a new customer, thinking they'd accommodate or help me to keep me around, but nope. This photo is the ugly blonde I got. And did not ask for... Who would even want this brass colour. Like WHERE is the blonde?? Cannot even see any blonde, unless I go into pure sunlight and then I will see the brass blonde. (See photos attached). Not impressed. Won't be going back and don't recommend this place AT ALL. Photos aren't always what they seem. Now I'm going elsewhere to get my hair done again.

Firstly, the two associates working were making rude comments about me the moment I had walked in. This should have been my cue to leave but I unfortunately gave them the benefit of the doubt. They cut way more of my hair off than I had agreed for them to cut. I came in to get a trim, removing just the dead ends of my hair. I told them I would like to keep as much length as possible. Me and Debra agreed on 2 inches to be removed but more like 7 or 8 inches were removed. Comments made by Debra seemed to imply it was cut so short (despite my specific request not to) out of personal preference on behalf of the hairdresser, because she thought layered hair does not look good on long hair and looks better on medium length. I had requested the front pieces/bangs be cut to chin length, and they still extend multiple inches beyond my chin after the cut. I also booked a repair treatment that I did not receive..? When discussing hair repair treatments with her, she did not seem confident or knowledgeable on this treatment she is allegedly qualified to be providing. During the cut, she kept making unwarrantedly negative and disrespectful comments about her opinion on the quality of my hair. This was especially upsetting because many of the comments she made were completely irrelevant to the treatment I was getting. Debra had both headphones in, and did not listen to my complaints that it had already been cut too short. She had to ask me to repeat myself many times over the course of the haircut but she did not remove her headphones. She only checked the length with me after it was too late, and then proceeded to unnecessarily cut even more hair off directly going against what I had asked of her multiple times. When she was washing my hair, she did not remove her shell bracelets that scratched my face and ears multiple times and she had asked me into positions that intensely strained my neck on top of that. Not only was the haircut objectively not what I had asked for, the environment was incredibly toxic and unprofessional. The employees were loudly making concerning comments on topics such as suicide, and other sensitive mental health issues with no regard for anyone who may overhear their conversation. She also did not use heat protectant on my hair or any products for that matter after using a blow dryer on high heat on the same spot for a concerningly long time. This proceeded her telling me my hair was damaged. Overall, not only was the experience very hostile and uncomfortable, I did not at all, in any way, receive what I had asked for in the first place. Would not recommend anyone come here. The pictures truly do not do it justice. You really have no idea how much she really cut off.

I had an amazing experience. I have dark thick hair and I wanted to go completely blonde. I knew it was going to be a process for my stylist. Ivona made me feel confidebt that she could achieve what I was looking for. She also made me feel comfortable and relaxed. You definitely need to feel comfortable and relaxed if you're going to be there for 6 hours. 😉 She explained everything she was going to do before she did it. We discussed the cost prior. I knew it was going to cost a pretty penny, but I wanted to feel pampered and Ivona made me feel pampered. I want to thank Ivona for making me feel good about myself. Thank you for listening to what I wanted as well as listening to me gab, lol. Thank you for being so kind and caring, I truly appreciate it. God bless you.

I was looking for a hair salon that specializes in curly hair, I was pregnant, had my son and ended up having curly hair after I gave birth a year ago. I was so lucky that I got an appointment with Cassandra because I had a colour disaster where my hair turned purple from a purple shampoo. Never have I ever walked out of a salon completely happy until yesterday with Cassandra. She taught me how to work with my curls and style and train them. She fixed my colour to something I never thought my hair could achieve. She cut and styled my hair so amazingly I’ve already bought the products she used. I plan on going back very soon for extensions because my postpartum hair is shorter unfortunately. But I am so so so happy and confident with my new hair! Thank you Cassandra!!!
