I recently completed the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt course at Blue Ocean Academy with instructor Kiran Varri, and it was an excellent experience. As a newly promoted manager, I wanted to strengthen my knowledge and skills with world-class methods like Six Sigma. I had no prior Lean Six Sigma experience, but the course made it clear and approachable. The content was simple, well-structured, and straight to the point. I do wish it were a bit longer or had more reading assignments because there’s still so much more to explore in the field. The balance between theory and practical examples was very good, but like any skill, you need to practice and apply it to real scenarios to get the most out of it. The most valuable part for me was diving into statistics and the Minitab software—it gave me powerful tools I can now use in my work. Kiran’s teaching style was engaging and based on real-world experience. With small class sizes (we had about three people per session), we had plenty of one-on-one interaction, which made the learning experience richer. He was always ready to answer questions—whether during the session or later on WhatsApp—and his responsiveness was a huge plus. This course gave me the confidence to start applying Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques immediately. In fact, I began implementing what I learned during the course itself and got valuable feedback from Kiran. If you’re considering this course, I highly recommend it. You’ll get valuable knowledge, practical tools, and direct access to a supportive instructor who genuinely wants to see you succeed.
