We hired Blackfriars to cater our wedding this past Saturday, and they surpassed our expectations in every way. Betty was a very patient and thorough in our planning in the months and weeks leading up to the big day. Service the day of was exceptional and very well coordinated. Many guests commented on the attentiveness of the staff, and nearly everyone told us how delicious the food was. I must note that everything was extremely reasonably priced, especially given the average cost of weddings these days. Many things I thought would simply be out of our price range (guest choice for dinner, passed hors d'oeuvres, open bar), Blackfriars made it happen. Would highly recommend to anyone planning their next event. Thanks again for making our wedding so special!

My friends and I decided to check out this restaurant when we had seen their Londonlicious menu and oh boy, am I glad that we did. Everything was divine — food was fresh and tasty, service was wonderful and the atmosphere was quaint which is exactly what we were looking for. I had never been to this restaurant before but I will be returning — thank you for a lovely evening!

I want to say the food was wonderful but it was very hard to enjoy because of the extreme heat inside the restaurant. AC was not operating and the kitchen connects to the dinning room. It was extremely hot that even the water that was poured was warm. $90 for one person during Londonlicious is still high but I prefer the farm to table perks and would support it. Fresh food always but the atmosphere was horrendous and the servers should have said something immediately about the AC issue and offered to place people outside. As soon as I walked outside I was relieved by the breeze.

Not happy with the $18 (before tax) Caesar Salad. It didn’t even have bacon or croutons. It had something like crushed graham crackers on it. Also, you can see the squirts from the bottle on the whole uncut pieces lettuce. For the price, it’s just not good and definitely a fail in my opinion.
