Customer experiences
Our server who I conveniently share the same name with was an absolute sweetheart and did a wonderful job. She was bubbly and had great recommendations such as the huckleberry margarita. We also had the green chili cheese curds, bacon jam burger, green chili burger, a cinnamon roll, and green tea shots which I was pleased to find were a special for the night. All of the food was delicious. There was also live music which was lovely. We live in Gunni and will be making the beautiful drive to this restaurant and sweet venue more often.
We rented a tiny house for a week through Stumbling Moose Lodge. It was very clean, roomy and had all “hotel-like” accommodations with beautiful mountain views. If we had any questions or concerns during our stay, the staff was quick to answer. If you want to stay in a tiny town, minutes from lots of trails, I would highly recommend staying at Stumbling Moose Lodge in Pitkin.
Stumbling Moose Lodge Bar & Grill is an absolute gem in Pitkin! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a great mix of locals and travelers. I had the Bacon Jam Burger and it was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had—so flavorful! The live music on Friday night made the evening even more special. Staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-stop for great food, drinks, and good vibes.
When I first came here, it was just a small little bar serving ice cream and Tostino’s pizza. Fast forward three years, and it’s completely transformed. This place is now booming with an awesome atmosphere, a friendly and welcoming staff, and some seriously delicious food. It’s become a must-stop spot for us off-roaders — couldn’t recommend it more!
