I visited this park with my mother-in-law last year about this time. I think we enjoyed our trip last year better. It was certainly nice this year so my colon temperatures were nicer. I wish there was some more cleared trails in the wooded areas.

An amazing wooden Place it for all the kids who are young or young at heart, A nearby beach. That has room for all sorts of fun, Arentren house next door has kayaks , boats canoes and so much more , just for rent. Campsites type grills set up with nearby picnic tables and shaded spots for rent. A great place to take the family or friends for a picnic, photos, something special or just to get out in the fresh air. Kept immaculately clean no debris. Trash cans are plentiful.

I like the disc golf course and the pave trail. A lot of little stops to take pictures. Hide upgraded to a five-star if there were more dirt trails to walk on. If anybody knows of some let me know.

Impressed! Been trying to go to as many different parks as possible with my dog - for a change in routine/scenery - implementing a hobby with physical and mental health benefits. All that to say this is my favorite park yet! It's huge!!! There's so many cute seating areas, paths, docks and more! Lots of fountains and restrooms! I noticed a trash was full, but saw no trash around. The bathroom I used was spotless. Saw DNR - which I appreciated, think this helps keeping the park up kept and safe. We checked out 3 different areas in 3 hours and I don't think we saw half the park. Will definitely return to check out the rest! Also had a Frisbee golf course which I haven't seen at many.
