Absolutely Amazing! We had the best experience at Big Axe Alehouse & Grill! My husband is a huge smoked meat fan, and he said his sandwich was even better than the one he had in Montreal—which is saying a lot! He also loved their beer selection, especially the one he tried. As for me, my steak was cooked to perfection, and everything on the plate was absolutely delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every dish. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a warm and inviting feel. There’s a big wood fireplace, which wasn’t on when we visited, but the place was already cozy. I can just imagine how amazing it would be to enjoy a meal there on a snowy day in front of the fire. We’re already planning to come back and try out their FROSTival menu, which looks so delicious! If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unfortunately when we were there the food was not good. The cheeseburger nachos were $26 and were not worth the money. The veggie nachos also were $20 and didn’t have many toppings at all. We chose the nachos as there weren’t many options on the menu. The restaurant was also freezing and we had to wear our coats. One of the tables near us that had a reservation was unfortunately sat right in front of the door leading directly outside so they were also freezing. (it was -17 outside) The service was great though and staff were very nice!

Beautiful restaurant- had amazing service and the food was delicious! Enjoyed the craft beer. Highly recommend! Looking forward to going back.

Food was mediocre (BCB Nachos). Service was terribly slow. 20 mins to get a drink and take our food order. Waitress didn't bring utensils or napkins, even when asked. I had to go to the bar and get them myself. Ordered a second drink when the food arrived, ended up going to the bar and canceling the drink because we finished our food before the drink arrived. Waitress never came back to check on us, had to go to the bar again to ask for the bill. Waitress was friendly and polite, and did apologize for the delay. The restaurant was not busy, so I have no idea what the issue was. Will not be back.
