I love it here! The staff is so friendly! You are made to feel at home and welcome!! The hotel is walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. Public transportation and the I-270 near by to get you to tourists attractions in Washington, DC by car. Rooms are available with a microwave and refrigerator. There are also washers and dryers on the premises. I have stayed here multiple times and the price and the convenience of having multiple stores and restaurants within walking distance make this my favorite place to stay. The staff is the icing on the cake!!

Some very serious complaints about this hotel. First of all the policies for this hotel are 100 percent smoke free and a policy that allows pets to stay in the hotel. The issue is the hotel doesn't enforce the no smoking policy. People go outside of their rooms to smoke and fill every single room around it with cigarette smoke and odor that is extremely uncomfortable for children and pets. Id expect a hotel that allows pets would acknowledge that cigarette smoke and odor isn't good for others or mainly pets. The doors in these hotels are very terrible, the smoke and odor just goes through the big cracks and fills every room. I've stayed here for over 3 months and the hotel has YET to do anything aside from put a sign that says no smoking which nobody follows. Ever since I have stayed here I've developed a cough that won't go away because I'm sensitive to the smell and smoke. If this hotel doesn't enforce it's no smoking policy I will put a complaint to a health department.

There's mice. On Concerns: They will be nice and try to get whatever you're concerned about addressed. If it's not a request for fresh towels, however, it has a low likelihood of being addressed beyond a room switch. With this method, you'll exchange a problem in one room, for a different problem in another, until you settle for the problem you're able to endure (A/C? Dehumidifier? Shower curtain rods? Mold? Mouse?). The staff seems friendly, but something goes wrong with logistics in getting problems fixed. There was a fire there, recently. The emergency services put it out, but no one was notified there was even a fire, at the time. We all just heard the sirens. Afterwards, my rooms' phone stopped working. It was never fixed. I don't hate them. But, until they address the list of safety concerns I've seen, I can't recommend them to anyone, despite their convenient location to food across the road, and the friendly staff.
