Ligori & Ligori was the first and only law firm I have ever worked with. I was hit by a drunk driver and they took care of me from start to finish. After losing a testicle from an unnecessary and botched surgery I called Ligori and Ligori to pursue a malpractice case. I ended up being given Robert Murphy who assured me that with one year left before the statutes of limitations was up, he would find an expert witness necessary to pursue a malpractice case in Florida. Weeks would go by without hearing a word from him, and I began to call him once a month to find out what was happening… every time I called I got the exact same story, he was working on a few different leads and was about to hear back from somebody soon, and would PROMISE me not to worry, that he would definitely find someone to be my expert. Flash forward to the month before my statute of limitations was up and I had to pick up the phone again to find out what was happening. He ended up telling me that the case was harder than he thought, and that I should try other law firms to improve my chances… I can’t tell you how hurt, frustrated, and foolish I felt putting my trust in Robert and expecting him to keep to his word… the surgeon who sexually mutilated me for the rest of my life not only going unpunished for what he did to me, but is keeping the 9,000 I had to pay him out of pocket for the procedure… having every ignore my case and fail to bring me any kind of closure or justice felt worse than any of the physical pain I experienced.
