I have been coming to Bellissima Donna since I was 5 years old. Flavia has exclusively been my hairdresser for 16 years and I couldn’t be happier with her work! My three little sisters and I have always gotten our hair cut by Flavia but when I got to high school I decided to go blonde and have continued coming to Flavia for all my blonde maintenance needs. She consistently outdoes herself and I leave the salon smiling from ear to ear everytime. She does such a fantastic job that I wouldn’t be able to trust anyone else to do my hair. Even thought I get full highlights every 2-3 months, the Aveda products are professional grade high quality to the point that my bleached hair shows no signs of damage whatsoever; in fact it’s extremely healthy, which isn’t common in the bottle blonde world. Flavia’s skills and techniques are the highest of quality and I’m so lucky to be such a long time client of hers. Her taste is also top notch, I often like to switch my style up and leave it up to her to decide what would look best which she never misses on. I can’t recommend Bellissima Donna enough, it’s a neighborhood gem that I will never stop going to. Thank you for being the absolute best Flavia!!!!!!

DO NOT COME HERE. The owner did my mom’s hair and it was not what she asked for. She asked for a cut, color and highlights. You can see in the photos what she asked for (Pinterest screenshot) and what she got. Even after my mom told the owner that she didn’t think there's enough highlights when she started blow drying her hair, the owner insisted it was just the lighting in the room. (Keep in mind there are a lot of lights shining down In the salon plus the natural light from the big windows) But after I arrived, I could also tell it looked nothing like what my mom asked. It almost looked like what was left over from my mom’s previous highlights were the only ones there. So we asked the owner if she could do something because it really didn't look like she added enough highlights especially for the cost, but she proceeded to be very rude about the situation and kept trying to insist it was the lighting. After a little bit of explaining how even with lighting it didn't look like anything what my mom asked for, she finally caved in to add more. Even after adding more it did not look good, like she was in a rush. Overall, the owner/one of the stylists of this salon is very unprofessional and rude. Will not recommend anyone coming here and will definitely not be coming back myself!! BEWARE!!

Flavia is great! She listens to what the client s and is flexible when scheduling. This is a neighborhood gem! Went in again for a no chip mani and a pedicure. Love that they have one client at a time. Very personal and personable.

The Best Salon, for the price, in Chicago. Flavia, the owner, has repaired my hair, and I get compliments on my hair Day in and Day out. I encourage you to take her styling advice on everything that she tells you for great movement, cuts, and Express Blow Outs. She really knows color and has made my hair so beautiful. I adore her, and it is easy in and out. She will also accommodate your schedule. I love that I can get hair and nails done at the same time.
