Outstanding Instruction at BC Firearm Academy! I recently took a course at BC Firearm Academy and had an absolutely exceptional experience, largely thanks to our instructor, Amyn Dharamshi. From start to finish, the course was well-organized, engaging, and incredibly informative. Amin is a truly brilliant instructor who manages to balance professionalism with a relaxed and approachable demeanor. I took the unrestricted and restricted course over the span of two days. There were presentations and hands on practice with firearms. The instructors Eric and Amyn were so funny and informative! They kept the class interesting with jokes and personal experience, and welcomed questions - no matter how trivial. If anyone’s looking to get a firearms licence this is the place I’d recommend.

This is the one if you’re looking for a place to take your firearms safety course (they offer both restricted and non-restricted). Central location, on-site parking, amazing course scheduling times and clean/bright space to learn. Instructor Amyn was fantastic. He’s the perfect mix of laid back, knowledgeable, funny, engaging when presenting and his anecdotes give you a look into what the gun hobby world is like (tips for what to do if a bullet casing falls down your shirt at the range, for example). Had lots of time to practice on the dummy guns, I’m now much more familiar with them which is hard to achieve in such a short time. Amyn made the two days of packed content enjoyable. The owner is also quite diligent in checking the condition of the space, how the class is running etc., always good to see! 11/10 recommended.
