To me, Bayswater feels like a close-knit family. The teachers and classmates are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the variety of courses makes learning engaging while strengthening all aspects of my English: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The teachers provide one-on-one feedback to help improve my writing skills and encourage critical thinking through group discussions and presentations. For instance, we have debated topics like the impact of technology and cannabis laws, which have broadened my perspective and boosted my confidence in expressing my ideas in English. Regular progress tests help me track my improvement. In addition to general English, Bayswater offers specialized courses, such as IELTS preparation and digital marketing, which have sharpened my professional skills. I used to feel nervous about giving presentations in English, but now I am confident and comfortable sharing my thoughts openly. What makes learning here even more enjoyable are the teachers' creative methods—interactive games, board games, and even body language activities—making lessons fun and dynamic. For example, we play games like "Yes and" and "Taboo," which help expand my vocabulary and enhance my creative thinking. I’ve discovered new ways to practice active listening, adapt to different accents, and apply my communication skills effectively. Plus, I’ve tried games I had never even heard of before! Another highlight is the opportunity to connect with students from around the world. I rarely meet people from the Americas or other distant regions in Taiwan, so learning about their cultures has been eye-opening. Surprisingly, despite our different backgrounds, we often share similar life experiences—a reminder of how much connects us. I am deeply grateful to the teachers, classmates, and staff for reigniting my passion for English and making me curious and excited about learning again, just like when I was 18. I would love to return to Bayswater to further my studies!
