Sheldon BatesLewis did an excellent job planning and executing our exterior illumination. In just a short conversation with Lewis, I could tell that he truly enjoys the task of designing a lighting system that highlights the most interesting elements of a home and draws out its character. He was almost as excited as I was to see the home illuminated for the first time. When we started this project, I did not have a budget in mind, but Lewis was able to offer his recommendations based on our goals. As we went through the process we removed a few lights in some places and added in others. He was excellent to work with. We planned our system for future expansion, and Lewis offered his expertise on how to stage the future development of our system. We ran into an unforeseen issue with running wire across our walkway, and Lewis offered an excellent solution that did not delay our project or increase the costs. Out of the many professionals we have dealt with over the years, Lewis is one of the most responsive that I have met. I was always updated on when he would arrive and what the next steps would be. Lewis is not interested in simply lighting a home, but he is truly passionate about highlighting its charm and creating an appropriate atmosphere for the property. After the first illumination, my wife commented that not only was the lighting beautiful, but it was also romantic. I thought that this project was mostly for the appearance of the home from the street. However, when viewed from the inside, the unique shadows and highlights on the landscaping allow for further enjoyment. I had been wanting to do this project for a long time. I truly believe that Lewis was the right partner for this task.
