Richard RozhikWaste of money. I found problems that the inspector didn’t find. Inspector did not check main sewer line, did not check or have any details concerning the extra oil tank that I found and brought to his attention, did not check attic except for the area immediately opening to the attic — did not have the proper tools for an inspection (like a camera to view spaces he couldn’t reach or fit in). The water pressure was low and choppy and inspectors explanation was the faucet needed to be changed—- there was no checking of plumbing pipes (this is an extra fee). All photos were taken on his phone. I am no more knowledgeable after this inspection than I was before the inspection. I also paid a significant extra fee to check for mold. Although inspector told me there’s definitely mold, I have no clue where—- no photos, and no specific checks for areas that may contain mold like the attic. All he did was an air test which takes 2-3 days for results to come back. I really thought it would be much more thorough especially for mold as we have kids considering the price paid. I could’ve bought an air quality test for $10 on Amazon instead of paying an additional almost $300. Finally, the report sent has general pictures. If I wanted to replace portions of the roof that are problematic, there are no close up pics to point out those portions. This is just not what was expected at all for the price.
