If you want a lawyer who communicates and who’s always on top of her game, I would avoid using Mercedes Badia-Tavas. She has non existent customer service skills and her team seems always behind the ball. I do not know if they have more clients than they can handle but it’s outrageous. They charge big bucks for a poor service.

This law firm has counsel and partners that willingly and knowingly violate the Indiana open door laws while representing local, municipal, public entities. Most recently, Chris Greisl and Mark Crandley representing the Hamilton East Public Library. Fleecing Hamilton county with exorbitant fees, providing unconstitutional legal advice, refusing to provide documents to the public and then resigning from representing when the public scrutiny became too hot. Never hire this law firm.
