After a big walk at Mono Cliff Provincial Park we went to Orangeville for lunch. We always try to avoid chain restaurants and support local establishments. So we gave The Hatter a shot. Service was great. Our waitress was lovely. I don't remember her name. The food overall was okay. Nothing terrible but nothing that we had wowed us enough to say "next time we are in Orangeville, we must come back." My Moscow Mule was my highlight. It had a good bite.

Food was absolutely delightful. We had the oysters (omelet.. get them and the house made hot sauce) The wings, meditrainian fish, and the calbrese pasta. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. Great atmosphere would highly recommend

Went there for the blackened salmon plate and the prime rib plate and were not disappointed! Tasty food, good portions , with timely & friendly service. Decent atmosphere too. Highly recommended!

I’ve eaten here a couple times before and the food and service has always been great when dining in, but this was my first and probably last time ordering takeout. Ordered two fish and chips - one was way over-fried and dry, while the other looked much lighter, like they were cooked separately or inconsistently. There was also way more batter than fish in both orders - and one fish was literally so thin. Fries were good but uneven portions in both orders as well.
