Brilliant service, I called and explained my issues and right away he suggested he would come to my house and see if he could solve the issue. Within 10 mins he had identified the issue, after a few more tests using an array of technology found the faulty part “which hadn’t set off my engine management light for some reason” as soon as the part arrived it was fitted within minutes and now all is well. Certainly will be using again and really happy with the cost, much more of a pleasant experience than going to a garage.

Disclaimer: I do not know Chris personally and this was our first interaction. My Fiat 500 developed an electrical gremlin and was literally un-driveable with faults popping up all over. We called Chris on the off chance he was available and within a few hours he was looking at my car. After two hours my car was fixed and running like a dream again. It's worth noting we thought it was fixed after an hour and so Chris left but the error reappeared. He came back almost immediately and after some more fault finding found the intermittent problem. Top marks for knowledge, work ethic, personality, pricing, and so on. Definitely recommend

Chris is a HUGELY skilled honest , ethical and reliable mechanic. Most garages you will visit are none of these things. I have a pretty good mechanical knowledge having tinkered for years and Chris never replaces things that don’t need replacing , turns up when he says and never delivers an unexpected bill. I honestly shouldn’t post this as we would like to keep him all to ourselves. Chris looks after our forklifts , commercial vehicles , domestic vehicles, he even looks after our garden machinery. He is a gem and restores your faith in the motor trade He has just fixed a problem on one of our commercial vehicles that 3 previous mechanics failed to resolve.
