Waiting at a crosswalk on 109 Street and 109 Ave at approx. 9:38pm on January 21, 2025 in Edmonton. I started to cross when I saw a fleet truck drive through the red light without slowing down, despite a long yellow light. The Aurora logo was clearly visible on the driver door, along with the large silver rack in the box (I assume for window equipment). Given your company's concern about safety, and that other reviews highlight driver safety issues, it's evident that your fleet needs improvement in the following areas: 1. Better information: Require drivers' abstracts prior to hiring them, and schedule regular reviews while they're employed. 2. Risk management: Tire upgrades to better handle Edmonton winter roads, and ongoing fleet truck maintenance. I know a fabulous mechanic; he is amazing and well-priced, and even does body work for when one of your trucks smashes into something. 3. Skill enhancement: More rigorous driver training, including for night time winter driving. If I, as a mom in a minivan, can stop to avoid deer on Highway 43 at night in a blizzard, you should be able to stop to avoid cars and pedestrians in the city. 4. Accountability: Strictly upheld protocols for all drivers, including rewards for incident-free driving, and a demerit system and loss of fleet privileges for unsafe driving. 5. Emergency readiness: A fleet upgrade to trucks that can stop safely and quickly, including in risky weather conditions and when fully loaded. If a daily driver--in an equipped 4x4 fleet truck with an empty rack--can't stop at a red light, even with plenty of warning, your safety program is clearly lacking. I didn't catch the license plate, but many fleets are equipped with GPS. I've given you the time and date, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out who was driving at that moment and location. If you don't have GPS, I know several branch managers and business owners who oversee fleets, and I'm sure I can find you a recommendation. The attached photo is a screenshot from your LinkedIn. I visited your page to verify that the logo I saw is yours. The font style is memorable.

I own a smaller GC in Edmonton that does Commercial work and we recently completed a larger project with Aurora. Their costs were where they needed to be, the quality was top-notch, the safety program was fantastic, and they were extremely easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to work them again or to be a reference for them going forward.

I use Aurora on multiple high rises for Anchor certification, 3 year window washing quotes, exterior repairs specifically to water proofing. Great contractor to work with, highly recommended.

On May 31th in Calgary one of your technician drove your company van, ran a red light and crashed into the side of my car, injured me and caused my car to be a total loss. He then proceeded to lie to the insurance company despite that more than one witnesses were on scene and all given statements against him. This unfortunately gave the company a very negative image and made me and my colleagues question the moral standing of the individual, as well as the company that he represents.

Aurora Industries Ltd. is a window cleaning service.
