I cannot say enough good things about my 6 month experience with the therapist, Lori Risner, and all the other staff members who helped me recover after elbow surgery. It was hard work, but I got encouragement, emotional support, and lots of creative exercises. I highly recommend this Athletico location.

Just wanted to share my recent and past experience with Athletico in Barrington. I started about 3 months ago with Lori Risner, their Occupational Therapist, to try to alleviate the pain from my golf elbow in my left arm, which I have had for some time. After about 8-10 weeks of seeing Lori 2-3 x a week it is all but gone and just in time for the golfing season! She is excellent and I am so glad I went in! I also see Matt Zavala for dry needling every 3-4 weeks and have seen him for other issues over past 15 or so years and have always had great results! Cannot say enough about Athletico and their staff - even the front desk attended by Spencer and Jen, are always so professional and caring, as is everyone there! Thank you for all you do for your clients!

My post thumb joint fusion PT with Lori was exceptional. She was very thorough and encouraging during the process which helped me regain the full use of my hand in a very reasonable amount of time. Today I am able to do all of my normal activities without any pain or strain. Thank you, Lori!!

Had a great experience overall with Athletico in Barrington. Lori - my PT for my wrist was excellent! She was very good at listening and developing a plan to strengthen my wrist and (hopefully) prevent surgery. Her simple yet practical approach with exercises, devices and braces was a great combo to help me out. I also really like the new videos on the app that you can do at home. Makes it much easier to continue on your own after PT is done. Finally the staff at this location was extremely nice and helpful as well. From the front desk on back, I would highly recommend Athletico and the Barrington location!
