I went in after being transferred from ER. Everyone was so nice and were concerned about the pain I was in. It seemed I tired to pass a Gallbladder stone. Surgery was done and i was able to go home after 48 hours of being hospitalized. I am no longer in pain and I feel better than I have felt in a long time. I appreciate everyone who I met during my stay they were amazing!

Our experience was one of endless support and encouragement. From labor and delivery to postpartum care, we had incredible staff who were attentive and detail-oriented. The only issues we experienced were related to the availability of snacks in the family lounge and food for the non-birth parent.

Unfortunately my experience at St Vincent Ascension in Carmel was very poor. I arrived for a Spinal Fusion at 6am on Monday July 7, 2025. Around 10 I was sent to recovery (PACU). I was miserably stuck there for the next nearly 7 hours. Tho I was scheduled for a 2 nights stay… they didn’t have a room ready for me. My girlfriend stayed there for 10 hours, and never did get to see me. I didn’t expect any special treatment.. I just wanted cared for and paid a little respect. That never happened. In my 3 days there; I never had my sheets changed, the pillows did not have cases, they never disposed any of my urine or drainage liquid. I never even got a towel to wipe off with. Nearly everyone that worked there was rude. I seen my surgeon for a total of 1 minute in 3 days. I assure you, I could go on and on.. Very unprofessional.

My stay was wonderful it was the discharge that was the problem. I didn't receive the proper discharge paperwork. I was not told when to come back for my follow up appointment from my major surgery nor was I informed when to shower or bath from my surgery date. I didn't receive the follow up phone call or anything to check to see if everything was ok post surgery nothing I had to call them to let them know I was having issues after my surgery. St Vincent Carmel needs to do better...
