This is for anyone who may find themselves here, doing research for a Family Court Lawyer. Dont make the same mistake my daughter did and use this lawyer for Family Court matters that require real advocacy. We should have done this in the beginning, but if you look up her LinkedIn and Instagram page she doesn't even promote being a Family Law Lawyer, but has her name on the list that Legal Aid provides with availiable Lawyers for Family Court. Very greedy, just looking for money! These are children and very sensitive matters. My daughter hired her for a case involving serious safety concerns for her child, and she was completely unhelpful. She did not explain the court process at all, spoke very rudely, and expected my daughter to already know everything and do most of the work herself including writing out documents that the lawyer simply copied and pasted and then complained about how much work she was doing. She was unresponsive to urgent calls and emails , and when my daughter questioned the lack of support, she quit less than a week before the first court date. Very unprofessional. In my opinion, she only takes legal aid cases for the paycheck. She avoids conflict, pressures clients to agree rather than fight for them, and even babysits her grandson during meetings while being paid by Legal Aid. I don’t believe she should even be listed as an available lawyer for family court matters. If all you need is a signature or stamp, she might be fine. But if you need someone to protect you and your children, look elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would. Very unprofessional and rude lady!!
