My experience with George and GD paintwork has been brilliant from start to finish. After striking a deer on my way to work, I contacted GD via Checkatrade and they were quick to reply. After looking at the car and giving me advice to proceed via a claim to my insurance, they quickly booked my car in for the repair, even allowing me to drop it off at the weekend as I work away from home. Offered me a courtesy car and took care of the rest. After picking it up today, I am extremely happy with the work and service they have provided. I know where I’ll be going for any of my bodywork and paintwork repairing needs in the future.

All I can say is....WOW ! We were recommended to take our car to GD Paintwork and am so happy that we listened to this very good advice...I had caused a large dent in the drivers side door and damaged the door handle. We have just picked up our car and it looks like new and spotlessly clean inside and out. We had gone to another well known local company for a second quote, this was nearly twice the price and I would not have felt confident leaving our car there as the grubby, messy work space inspired no confidence whereas you could eat off the floor at George 's workshop if you so desired.....Thank you for such a brilliant job...and highly recommended.

Once in a while a scuff or a prang occurs that needs to be repaired, the quotes for repair usually make me wince. But GD came in at a very sensible price. Super fast turnaround and very nice guys to deal with. I will recommend to my family & friends.

I bought my 2010 VW T5.1 in April 2014 and had it converted as a camper van and re-registered as a Motor Caravan with DVLA. Over the last 11 years it gradually started to loose its shine and rust was appearing around the windscreen, doors and door shuts but the worse thing was the bonnet losing it lacquer and peeling. I decided some years ago to save up and get it completely re-sprayed, all rust sorted and change the front end to a Sportline front bumper with splitter and rear Sportline bumper to match. When it came to finally finding someone to do everything I wanted done I decided to also buy a new windscreen, sidebars, badges ,bumper protector, chrome strips, smoked side repeaters, gas strut, new pioneer stereo and clean the engine. After 3 weeks I finally had my van back and I couldn’t be more pleased as it looks brand new again. A big thank you to George at Gdpaintwork who carried out the work and sent me photos of the stages of the transformation, he and his team at Gdpaintwork have exceeded my expectations and the quality of finish is excellent. I would highly recommend. Thanks George I now love my VW again. Matt
