Alt Hotel Toronto Airport

I recently stayed here for a conference and everything was great. Check in was easy and my room included breakfast and parking. My room was clean and comfortable with lots of pillows on the queen sized bed and decent toiletries. The staff was excellent throughout the two days in all aspects. It's in a great location near the airport and has shuttle service. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Access to the Delta Pantry is a nice touch — a quiet, 24/7 space for snacks and drinks that works well for early departures or late arrivals. It’s not a full lounge, but it’s convenient and thoughtfully stocked. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a good bed and plenty of pillows. The property is a little older in places, but housekeeping keeps everything tidy, and the essentials are solid: strong water pressure, reliable Wi‑Fi, and a layout that makes it easy to settle in and get some work done. Breakfast is served in the Orchid Café, and as a Platinum Elite, the restaurant breakfast is a meaningful perk. Service is attentive, and the meal is far better than what you’d get from a typical grab‑and‑go setup. It’s a good way to start the day before heading to the airport. The location is excellent — close to YYZ with a dependable shuttle every 30 minutes. For conferences, early flights, or short stays, the convenience is hard to beat. Overall, this hotel delivers a comfortable, reliable, and well‑run experience, with staff who genuinely try to make your stay smooth. I’ll continue choosing this property when I need something close to the airport.

We attended what turned out to be the worst New Year’s Eve party organized by Desi Something at The Belmont. The venue was far too small for an event of this scale, and the overall atmosphere felt cramped and chaotic. The DJ was okay, but nothing could make up for how uncomfortable the space felt. The parking situation was the absolute low point of the night. First, we couldn’t get into the parking area. Once we finally managed to get in, we couldn’t get out. We ended up walking around in freezing temperatures trying to find someone who could help, which completely ruined the experience. I guess this is one of those situations where you get what you pay for, but even then, the basic logistics and venue choice were unacceptable. Overall, it was a very disappointing way to spend New Year’s Eve, and I definitely wouldn’t attend an event by this organizer again.
