I had really bad back pain for over a month and started seeing Elias for physio — honestly, such a great experience. After just a few sessions, my pain was gone and I felt so much better! Elias is awesome — super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and actually takes the time to explain what’s going on. He also gave me super helpful tips to do at home and even at work. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and wants them to feel better long-term. Highly recommend seeing him if you’re dealing with any pain!

I thought a February calf strain in the middle of marathon training was going to sideline me for a while, but Elias had other plans for me. He was able to quickly diagnose the injury, conduct some treatment in the clinic, and then prescribe me exercises to do at home. I managed to get back to full speed in just over a week thanks to Elias. In addition to knowing what he’s doing, he’s also just a great guy to talk to while you’re getting treated. I appreciate his sports and personal training background as it gives him a good basis to understand what I go through as a runner. I didn’t see him for a few months, but then returned post-marathon with a hamstring issue, then rotator cuff, and then elbow. And as with the calf, he’s been able to get me sorted out on all fronts. I’ve also been getting some serious massages from Mona at the clinic. I’m hesitant to say too much because she’s already so popular it can be difficult to find time with her some weeks. What I will say is that she is by far the best masseuse I’ve ever had. Like it’s not even close. I can go into the clinic barely able to walk, and then I leave practically doing cartwheels. To round out the experience, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the front desk staff, and specifically Megan. She’s always so polite and professional to deal with and I look forward to her greeting me with a smile when I attend the clinic.

When I suddenly experienced facial paralysis due to Ramsey Hunt Syndrome, I was pretty panicked (IYKYK). It's a super rare syndrome but I was lucky enough to find Elias at Toronto Physiotherapy. He is one of just a few specialists in the country in facial nerve rehab. He gave me exercises and acupuncture, and was super helpful in explaining my condition and what was happening with my nerves. Thankfully, I made a full recovery. If anyone is experiencing facial palsy, definitely give him a call.

Post-shoulder surgery, I was looking for a new physiotherapist after my previous one struggled with punctuality and structure in his curriculum. When I started physio at this clinic, I got paired with Elias and he’s always been punctual and taught me how to incorporate his prescribed exercises into my daily routine. Additionally, he’s always been open to answering any questions or explaining the rationale of the prescribed exercises. I’m looking forward to recommending him to friends and family that are nearby. It made me understand the importance of how a good physiotherapist is a necessity in recovery and rehab from injury. One last thing, the front desk staff have always been incredibly warm and friendly! Thank you all so much for helping me out during my recovery from shoulder surgery.
