Overall this is a university residence and mostly what you would expect from a university residence. Staff not always sunny but competent. The free breakfast was well-organized and appreciated. I liked the rooms and the common area, especially the kitchen which was quite nice. The facilities are kind of old, certainly, but they're clean. However the rooms were not well-ventilated and the heat and humidity were difficult to tolerate. The bathrooms did not have fans, or if they did it was not obvious how to activate them, which is not up to safety codes. The residence area had an unpleasant smell for this reason. I don't expect AC at this price but they should get a dehumidifier and do something to ventilate the bathrooms. Also, I know it's a budget hotel, but the lack of hand soap in the bathrooms and the lack of hand towels seems a bit excessive. My family was worried about the safety of location. I felt safe and the security measures were more than adequate. Overall I might come again in May, but I wouldn't come again in August unless they did something to ventilate the rooms better.

Wouldn’t call this a hotel. Looks like something between a hostel and a student’s house. Not dirty but definitely doesn’t feel clean. Shared bathroom and shower. Room doesn’t have AC. Breakfast is ok, but limited and you have to pick only 5 items (coffee and juice count as one). The breakfast room has a view of literal trash bins. Staff is friendly overall, Location is good, price is ok. But the place gives creepy vibes.

We booked two nights at this hotel through Booking.com because the photos looked decent and the reviews seemed acceptable. However, don’t be fooled by the pictures and ratings! The price for two nights was not very high (CAD 282.50), but considering the amenities and breakfast, it’s definitely not worth it. The room is extremely basic: two beds, one table, and a single chair – nothing more. There is a kitchen, but it’s completely unequipped: no dishes, no pans, not even a kettle! Breakfast was also disappointing. You’re allowed to choose only five items – and coffee already counts as one of them. Our conclusion: better to spend a bit more and stay at a nicer hotel in Toronto.

To be honest the rooms where ok. You get the pure basics a key to your room. It can be confusing to locate your room as i found out. its a shared corridoor with multiple rooms each with there individuall locks, 2 shared washrooms and shower jist putside of the rooms. The showers where small with only enputh room to rotate. But hwere clean and appered free of mold and eccesive hair or dirt. Toilets where pretty much spotless and clean. In your room ypu get your bed and a nice sized box fan. While the room was a little muggy it was definatly livable just try to create a cross breeze or bring a small fan from home to aid in the procces of staying cool in the summer. Now about the location and the exterior and interior. While its definatly by no means luxry ypu wpuld be supprised given the location how nice pepole are and how freindly staff and security is. Working security myself i can say i walked aroind and sleppt withnease knowing that security was on site. And the roof top view..... Talk about absolutly stunning. If i was from toronto and needed to rent somewhere becuse i was down bad. Or even just staying for a night in the area i would defiantly stay again. And brekfest while its pretty basic they had some killer banana bread.
