We stopped by Scolari’s Food Truck while enjoying drinks at Almanac Brewery and ordered a full-size fries and an order of chicken tenders. Unfortunately, they gave us a half-size fries instead of the full size we requested—an honest mistake but one that could’ve been avoided if they’d repeated our order back to us. As for the chicken tenders, we were floored when we saw that the $16 price tag got us just three tenders. While the quality was good—crispy, juicy, and flavorful—it’s hard to ignore how overpriced they were. The fries were solid too, but again, the cost-to-portion ratio left us feeling ripped off. It feels like Scolari’s is taking advantage of being the sole food vendor at Almanac, monopolizing the options on the island. While the food is decent, the pricing is outrageous and lacks value for what you’re getting. At these prices, it’s hard to justify another visit unless they reconsider their portions or pricing. If you’re planning to order, double-check everything to avoid mix-ups, and prepare your wallet—you’ll need it.

They serve kid friendly food at a brewery with a sandbox. They locked in a perfect business and don't care much beyond that. If I could get my kid to eat poke or any of the other food at Almanac, I would. I'd recommend packing a meal instead of relying on this truck. What irks me is they take 5min breaks between taking orders sometimes, so you stand in the sun waiting for 20min just to get your order in. I get that the kitchen can't keep up, but just put my order in the queue and let me walk away so I can get a beer. Most of the food is pretty good, but super pricey. $18 for a nothing special cheeseburger. Fries seem to be deliberately mushy and greasy. I don't understand it.

I visited Scolari's Good Eats on February 13, 2024, and found their burgers to be very good, though they leaned a little toward the pricier side. The flavors and quality ingredients made each bite worthwhile, leaving a positive impression overall. The food truck is situated at the Almanac Beer Co., which is a great location to enjoy a meal with drinks. However, it was quite busy when we went for dinner, so it was lucky we snagged a spot at the bar. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the energy added to the experience, making it a lively and enjoyable evening. For those looking for a quality burger and a vibrant setting to pair it with a good beer, Scolari's Good Eats at the Almanac Beer Co. is worth checking out, just be prepared for a crowd during peak hours.

Being from Tennessee, I'm always skeptical when a restaurant in the Bay Area advertises "Nashville Hot" because it usually turns out to be tepid, at best. But I had to pause between bites and it didn't sacrifice taste. Legit if you are looking for spicy. It takes a little while to get out (not fast food) but grab a beer (you'll need it) and enjoy the space.
