Dave McCabeNeeding a couple of new tyres at short notice Amanda & Paul were really easy to deal with and I would highly recommend A&P Motorcare. The work was done promptly at very competitive prices with a smile. My wife then needed an issue with her windscreen wipers sorting and after 20 minutes on the ramp it was dealt with and they said there was no charge when they should have charged. Great little business and highly recommend.
Mike HeydonDidn't want to have to leave this review (and looks like I'm in the minority looking at Google reviews) but lack of help from A&P to resolve has forced me to make everyone else aware. Had x3 Goodyear eagle f1 SS tyres fitted at A&P and paid for 2 wheel alignment on 29/04/22. Have driven approx 3k miles on the tyres since. Put the car in for MOT at ATS Blackburn on 11/11/22 and to my surprise the car failed on both front tyres worn down to the cords on inside edges. The tester point blank said it was down to poor alignment and all suspension was checked at time of MOT and flagged no play in joints to cause bad alignment. Therefore only one cause and it was bad workmanship from the tyre fit. Called A&P twice to offer them a chance to resolve, as well as ASDA Tyres (whom I purchased the tyres through) and no help provided. A&p say to take it up with Asda Tyres and asda tyres say go down the warranty route with goodyear. Nothing wrong with the tyres from a manufacture point of view, bad alignment service has caused this issue. Will inevitably end up a game of email tennis with no resolution. Had tyres done at another local garage yesterday to get my car through MOT and it became apparent that the rims had not been cleaned prior to the goodyears going on also. Little care taken by A&P and this highlights their attitude towards customer safety and satisfaction. Buyer beware. In response to A&Ps reply - A&P fitted the tyres and did the alignment which caused the fault. Not Asda.
