Everything was smooth with setting up dates and all of the logistics. The 1 star review comes from two things. First, communication with boxing day was poor. They messed up the day and time, and was frustrated with us for not being there when they arrived… a day early. Secondly, and the main reason, one of their packers stole all the cash from my child’s piggy bank (it was a fairly good sum). They wanted us to fill out a police report, but we didn’t know how much was in there or really wanted to deal with A-1 anymore than we had to. Filling out a police report seemed like an easy out for them without actually doing anything. My advice if you use them.. make sure everything of any value at all is in your possession when moving. It probably won’t make it to the final destination. Good luck.

This company has been incredible from the moment we were assigned them as a moving company (military move) to the last box packed up. The office staff and coordinators were so easy to work with and made things very simple and organized. They fit it around our schedule perfectly. The packing staff were kind and efficient. We had two days scheduled to be packed and didn’t need the second day. The driver Jesus and movers were quick but careful with our belongings. I was more than satisfied with every step of this process. Thank you for making this one of the easiest moves we’ve ever had!

We're having this firm move us from Tulsa to Dallas, and I'll submit 3 reviews: Phase 1 is the packing, Phase 2 is loading everything and moving it to Dallas, and Phase 3 is unloading everything in Dallas. Phase 1: For 2 days A-1 Freeman's staff of capable packers packed everything very efficiently and carefully. We were impressed with their care and attention to detail, especially in wrapping our fragile items. These ladies packed everything very nicely, and to maintain accountability they initialed each box as they sealed it. We could never have done all this ourselves as well as this group did! Watch for my Phase 2 review. Phase 2: A-1 Freeman's guys showed up on the designated load-up day on time with a capable crew. The final packing and loading went very well -- quickly, efficiently, professionally, and with great care applied to everything. The team was friendly, and their manager appeared to know exactly what to do. The whole house-full was loaded in less than a day, and we were very pleased. Watch for my Phase 3 review -- unloading in Dallas.

Absolutely recommend! From Robert McDow who did the estimate, to John Plonczynski who did the scheduling/coordination, to Dean Whitely the driver, and ALL of the movers at origin and destination, everyone was fantastic! Everything was well communicated and professional. I got a total of 5 estimates when planning my move, and could not be more pleased that I chose this company. It started with Robert when he arrived for a survey for my estimate. He is the only one of the 5 that took the time to sit down with me and go over their information packet about how insurance works and etc. Service and communication remainded top notch throughout the entire move.
