As a big Shawarma fan, I dropped by 1001 Nights Shawarma in Kitchener to explore something new and it turned out to be a great experience. The place gives off a clean Mediterranean vibe with a cozy setup that feels welcoming as soon as you step in. I ordered the Shawarma Supreme with rice, which comes loaded with veggies, chicken, hummus, tahini, BBQ sauce, and pomegranate molasses. The portion sizes are generous, $9.49 for small and $15.29 for large, making it solid value for money. The chicken was tender and juicy, paired perfectly with the sauces and rice. Every bite was balanced, with tender and moist chicken, creamy hummus, and that sweet-tangy kick from the pomegranate molasses tying it all together. Service was smooth and quick, even though it was a little busy. Staff were polite and made sure the food was fresh and well put together. Overall, it hit all the right notes for me. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to when I’m craving Shawarma again.

Went there after 2 years and man these people has maintained it. Best Salad ... top of the line. Great taste, amazing portions and good price. Really liked the Mushroom, Cabbage salad. The sauces are so good. Supreme Poutine and platters are amazing too. Everything was amazing. The Chicken wrap was good but can be improved. The portions are very big. Service is very good. Parking is an issue so plan for it. Nice place to dine in but can be better. But Food is top notch.

We were staying with friends in Kitchener and decided to order the family platter from 1001-Night Shawarma to make things easier. Everyone was hungry, and it turned out to be absolutely amazing! The platter was beautifully prepared with so much care, and every item was full of flavor. From the juicy chicken and tender beef to the falafel, kebabs, fries, rice, salad… There was a delicious bite for every taste. We’re from Quebec, but after this experience, we’ll definitely be coming back to 1001-Night Shawarma the next time we visit Kitchener. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful food served generously!

I had heard great things about 1001 Nights, and I’m happy to say it lived up to the hype. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter — the rice and potatoes were absolutely amazing and packed with flavor. The salads were fresh and refreshing, a perfect balance to the meal. I also tried the jasmine pudding to satisfy my sweet tooth, and it definitely hit the spot. Highly recommend!
